Some students sobbed, others had their eyes welling up with tears and yet some others collapsed while coming out of the examination halls as three hours proved woefully inadequate to solve the 'lengthy' Accountancy paper for most of the Class XII commerce students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday.A day after the Board announced it would take remedial measures before evaluating the "tough and lengthy" mathematics paper, which had students weeping across the country, similar scenes were witnessed outside several examination centres in Saudi Arabia where NRI students cursing the Board in choked voice for "sabotaging our hard work" to fetch a decent score and get a seat in prestigious commerce colleges.

Seeing so many people acknowledge the pain these students went through is honestly overwhelming. This momentum belongs entirely to the families who spoke up about their experiences. I never imagined this would reach so many people who care about fairness.

First of all paper was lengthy and limited time of 3hrs and calculation's were difficult and no calculator's which made time consumption more just hope CBSE correct's paper lieniently.
It was very tough for alloted time It's impossible to complete such difficult paper XII th grade decides the future of a student. This paper would surely affect many futures

The accountancy paper was really hard and really lengthy including the compartment case 12th accounts paper. I hope the cbse gives grace marks and extra marks as so they pass and their full years hard work don't go in vein .

Cbse 12th accounts paper was really tough and lengthy as there were many 3 marks questions which were lengthy and deserve more than 3 marks also the journal entries in dissolution questions and retirement question were lengthy and time consuming and many students failed to attempt those question because of trickness and lengthyness the same paper was given to accountancy compartment 12th 2016. So I hope all 12th students and compartment 12th accounts students get grace marks and extra marks atleast as so they pass so their full years hardwork don't go in vein . I also faced this years horrible paper Including my many friends.
