Blocking access to Cottonwood and tearing out the roads and Silver Falls bridged is totally stupid. Hunters are going to be hard to handle.

Just came from Wyoming they had same situation and washed out roads and a sign that said this is your decision point, it is your responsibility to know the hazards involved , including rapid decay, unpredictable road conditions due to flood damage ruts mud slides, deep ruts, rolling rocks narrow road ect what the problem with that each county needs to be able to make there own laws and vote so we don't get these freaks in control of everything get rid of her !

Responsible motorized access must be maintained. Banning access to law abiding citizens places the lands in the hands of those who care not for the laws, the land or its goodness in our spirit.

Closing public ground for no reason other than a perceived possibility is wrong. There were no road closures for past fires that actually caused more damage. This is purely abuse of power by a government agency.

The desire to protect the forest is good, but protection through inaccess is a disgrace to the enjoyment that the forest can provide.

I have enjoyed the Wenatchee and Snoqualmie National Forests for hiking and hunting for some 45 years. Have seen closures due to washouts and fires several times but all with much more severe conditions than what I understand exists along the Entiat River. Please open it up.

In my lifetime I have seen more and more public and private lands removed from public access. I always assumed it was because of the garbage dumpers. Let's think of another solution to this problem besides punishing everyone.

There is no reason not to open this area, as backcountry people we know and accept any risk involved while moving about the area and hold no one liable

Lately the USFS has spent several million dollars to improve their public image. It would be better to work with the public informatively and in good faith with no hidden agendas. OPEN THE ENTIAT and remove all gates and waterbars that have been put in covertly!!
