The USFS needs to quit with the dog and pony show. This is not the type of precedence that you need to be setting. You know as well as I do this is a knee jerk reaction now its time to quit with the games.

Open the road and trails, this is getting oppressive. We are not living in USSR. are we???? There is always a risk that forest users take going into the woods and hills, the government wasn't established to babysit us all the time, let alone abuse their power. The national forest is for the public, the usfs is only there to help manage it for the public. OPEN IT BACK UP NOW!

This is ridiculous to keep the upper Entiat Valley closed on the speculation there might be a debris flow. I also know the entire Wick family and know they are all hard working and dedicated people who would never do anything that would endanger their clients or stock. this also manages to close off the only part of the Entiat river still available for fishing> My family has enjoyed fishing and camping in the upper Entiat for generations. Access need to be restored and we can judge for ourselves the possibility of any danger

I have already personally cleared 30+ miles of trail this year. This a lame excuse for closing an area.

Every time a person wakes up and gets out of bed, there is inherent danger. I accept that risk. Every time I enter the woods, there is inherent danger. I accept that risk. Please open the Entiat River Road!

People of all ages who appreciate this beautiful area need access....some are not able to backpack any more and should be able to get as close to the high country as they can. Educate the public again about safe practices.

I am appalled at the lack of public input that was refused in the process to close all access to the Entiat valley. Please immediately open the area that all of us should have the privilege of visiting. It is your job to keep trails/roads open for all to use.

Arrogance and abuse of authority, on a scale like this, leads some " including myself" to believe an agenda exists to keek us out. I don't need baby sat. But we need to keep USFS in check. They work for us. This isn't what I want to pay for!

I don't personally access the closed area, but do access other USFS lands. Feel it is only a matter of time a farce like this happens in my area. There is always danger in the wilderness. We are willing to take the risk to enjoy the outdoors. Open the gates!!!

My family has known from the start this was a BOGUS closure!!! We enjoy this area yearly and we live in the Colockum area which was also hugely impacted by a fire in 2013 and should have closed areas down from access but they didn't and we continue to try to establish our ground back for the deer, elk and other wildlife!!!!
