The upper Entiat should not be closed to the public without due process. It is a travesty to close off an area of such beauty to the people who OWN the property!

Been clearing trails in burn areas all year. Including while fire is still present.

come up with a common sense approach to closures only during periods of predicted weather events for example. Sure it's harder, but (1) that's your job (2) it's public land and public access needs to be available (see#1). Explain where the alternative access point are?...the silence speaks volumes!

When a relative of a person that was killed at the ice cave took the forest service to court, the judge ruled that the forest service was NOT liable because the had signs explaining the posible dangers of going past the sign. All our ranger has to do is put up a sign explaining the possible danger of going past the sign and she and the forest service will NOT be liable. Give us back OUR choice and personal responsibility and stop treating us like we can't make an informed decision ourselves.

Sounds like the CA ranger wants to flex her muscle and is an unreasonable irresponsible ranger. Perhaps her paycheck should be stopped for the same five years. Shame on you, ranger. You come to our state and have no respect for the citizens in your area. We need a petition to oust such a narrow minded agenda driven forest ranger.

Is less and less trails Drive on now for example always reader man 99% of it is a noon and people wonder why people will drive legally on some roads there's nowhere else to drive

I got the blanket response of the June meeting outlining work was 90% complete with no finish timeline. After that I got no further response to emails and no answers at the Entiat ranger station. Tired of others trying to keep everyone safe by not allowing access.
Open up our land so we can enjoy our tax dollars.
