If this isn’t illegal, it should be. The insurance world is confusing enough without predatory, VC-backed agencies using deceitful strategies to gain business.

Absolutely ridiculous that they don’t speak to the new ‘agent’ prior to being forced to sign this form. This should be investigated by the DOI.

BOR are a great tool but the abusive use where a customer doesn't even know what happening is terrible.

Unbelievable the tactics out there to get business. Puts the industry as a whole in bad light and undermines those who are great agents providing the integrity & service expected for all parties.

This should not be allowed, this is an unfair trade practice.

Most consumers don't understand what this form does, and presentation in this way is unethical at best.

AOR are a great, and much needed tool in our industry… this is absolutely abuse of the system. SafeCo is not a carrier I will look at, until this process is stopped.

This was my home insurance and my wife that almost clicked it just so she could make a payment. That would have been the only way to move forward.

The deceitful way some companies use AOR’s to strip customers of the customer service they rely on has to stop.

I’m sick of mortgage companies, credit unions, car dealerships and technology companies all trying to take our customers. If it continues there won’t be any local small business insurance agencies left.

This is what will cause independent agents to stop placing business with carriers that allow this. Why support carriers that don’t have the back on their partners

The unethical use of AORs can not be tolerated.
