To let you know גילוי עריות which means immoral relationships which if you see in the Torah include relationships with a direct family member ex.. (mother & sister) another man or even animal is one of the 3 cardinal sins a person needs to give up his life before committing. So the Torah does explicitly show the severity of this sin if like you are saying there is a problem in the community with this issue we should help those that have these desires & show them the right way. Our Torah is אמת and forever and we need to fix ourselves to fit with the Torah not fit the Torah to go with the things we want to do. The same way we all know having relations with an animal is wrong same situation should be here. I hope this enlightens you a little bit on the topic.
