Abolishing White Masculinity from Mark Twain to Hiphop is now available thanks to Rowman and Littlefield and we are so thankful to the publisher for committing to this wonderful work. However, we the undersigned are not professionals in the university/college settings. We do not teach at the university level that would typically make decisions on course adoptions for a book such as this.

Still, we would truly love to read Abolishing White Masculinity from Mark Twain to Hiphop because we are interested in the work of Dr. Stephany Rose that brings race, literature, and popular culture together. Yet, as you may know, given that Rowman and Littlefield's target audience is academia, the hardcover price point is highly unrealistic for the general public.

We the undersigned would like to support and purchase this book, if Rowman and Littlefield would produce a soft cover of Abolishing White Masculinity from Mark Twain to Hiphop, marked at your general price point of $39.00 for a text of this length. This is more feasible for the general public who too would like the information contained in this book, but are not professors at colleges and universities.

As an independent press that is committed to the access of information, we hope that you would strongly consider an earlier soft cover release of this book so that the general public can reasonably access that which is often only provided to a select few.

Thank you!

Seriously? Who can afford these prices. I really want to read this but not for that much. Put it in paperback.

Academic pricing is a joke. I want to read this but I can't justify spending a whole paycheck on one hardcover book. Give us a paperback edition please!

So tired of good books being locked behind these insane price tags. Regular people want to learn too.

PLEASE make this accessible. Hardcover is way out of reach for any of us not at a university.

Really looking forward to Dr. Roses work. $39 sounds fair enough for a paperback. Do it!
