After clarifying with Singapore pools on how itoto works. I can see this is a very unfair bet type for punters. Let me tell you why:
If say a punter bought one unit of itoto and he is the only first prize winner of a $1m draw. Only $35714.29 is given out and the remainder of $964285.71 goes back to Singapore pools! Yes it is not snowballed to second prize winner or to anyone else.
Firstly this bet type not only dilute the winning shares it also give Singapore pools a share of the winning prizes if the winning itoto bet's 28 units are not fully bought.
