As a father who loves his child dearly and tries to be involved in every aspect of his life I feel fathers shouldn’t have to basically pay to see their children. Especially if the mother is a deadbeat that lives with her parents and can work but refuses to do so. The court system is completely messed up. If they had the best interests of the child in mind then the parents would each be responsible for the child on their time. As a father who has been screwed by the court many times it’s time they fix this violation of our rights as fathers

I absolutely hate 2 out of three of my children because of these unfair laws. The unfair laws need to be changed. Women use these laws as a bitter tool for revenge.

It is not for the kids it’s for the other parent. If the kids life was improved by the child support then ok but there should be documentation to show this. It is a form of legalized slavery and if one parent has a better paying job then the other parent we shouldn’t be penalized.

Child support deprives me, my children and my family of living a quality life. I can buy my children what they need and can support them on my own without the government involved. I have kids with three women and all three of them used my money for drugs. My daughter's mother overdosed and died using the child support I paid. My other daughters mother overdosed and did not die using the child support I paid. My son's mother does the same thing. Point blank I think a parent should take care of there children but the government has no right to inflict the punishment of child support. It is simply a punishment for having children and you are treated like a criminal especially if you object to child support. The government seems to think that if you don't want to pay support then you're saying that you don't want to take care of you're kids. No, that's not fair. I can take care of my kids without the governments involvement. We have to do something about this Corrupt system. We must put a stop to it

Child support laws are draconian and one of the single-greatest threats to the institutions of family and marriage. Little if any due process is given when handling and deciding these cases. The result usually leaves a father estranged from his child even though he is being taxed by an ex partner who wants nothing from him other than his money. If a partner leaves a relationship, all responsibility to that exiting partner should immediately cease. In almost no other situation on earth can a person who is exiting any situation be permitted to lay a futuristic and ongoing claim to anything connected to the situation they are leaving. If a person chooses to drop out of school, they don't then get to say they earned a degree or have one provided to them. If they leave a job, they don't still get paid. If a person leaves military basic training, they don't get to say they are a soldier or a marine. When a person leaves something, they leave it, and all prior connection is severed. That's it. They have no right to demand recompense from the place from where they just left. If they choose to take something from that place or situation (like a child) then they need to be held responsible for maintaining the burden which they have taken on. It is no longer anyone's responsibility but theirs. A parent should only be held responsible for a child who they actively pursue a relationship with and if that parent DOES pay support for that child, then they should be awarded SUBSTANTIAL and exclusive rights to physical time with that child as well as the right to choose how that child is brought up. Child support and visitation should be linked issues in this sense.

You would not believe the hell I have gone through with the Title IV-D collection agency located in Rockville, MD. could write a book on their contempt of the laws created to PROTECT anon-custodial parents involved with these bastards. This IS NOT about the children, it's about a $40,000,000,000.00 YEARLY SCAM designed to enrich the lives of States, elitist, US Federal Government officials, and anyone else taking BRIBES!
