Why is it ok to ignore this code in the Republic when the fair in Northern Ireland is compliant?

remove SMA branding from this event and abide by 'Article 5.5 of the World Health Organisation's International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes' to protect Irish people.

Nestlé claims for SMA are proven to be misleading. Nestlé systematically violates baby food marketing requirements around the world - unless stopped by laws or campaigners.

Companies which market ill health and product which are by their very nature inferior should be held to account and held to the Code.

Come on. We all know they dont have anyones best interests in mind apart from their own when it comes to lining their pockets. Disgusting that they would be allowed to sponsor an event like this.

This show is meant to be about mothers and babies... Please let ethics come before money and commercialism.

I am all for breastfeeding and can understand that because of either cancer, no support, stigma or wrong information that women choose not to breast feed. I have nothing against formula but breast is natural and it's looked down upon. more information about formula and breastmilk needs to be available through pregnancy and after baby is born.
