Using the airport was stepping back in time so far I expected Rob Roy charging across the tarmac. Its a discrace.

I travel extensively worldwide and visit many airports. For the size of the city and its self important Aberdeen "Oil Capital of Europe" tagline, the airport makes me cringe with embarrassment every time I go through it..

It is about time the Oil Capital of Europe had an airport to be proud of. The transport system to and from is also seriously lacking.
Image a 1st time visitor to our beautiful city arriving at 5pm and and taking over 1 hour to get 8 miles to their hotel!!

Love that the ground crew loves to make you stand in the rain and soak in all that is Aberdeen.

The investment in Aberdeen airport over the last 40 years is pitiful and demonstrates Aberdeen's Council's lack of faith and vision in their own community.

It wouldn't take much to improve the conditions at this "International" airport, just an informed management who recognise flier's needs.
