Absolutely ridiculous situation. Whoever looked at the plans and believed them to be appropriate need more training. Work is simply not happening on most days and it is certainly not being expedited at any speed. The simple cost of turn my 4 year old school run from 10 minutes each way to 40 minutes each way along dangerously over congested roads is obscene.

Clising the whole road for 20 weeks + is absolutely ridiculous. The effect it's having in local residents. It's added at least 25 minutes each way on our school pick up/drop off times. I wouldn't mind if it looked like they were actually working on the road but they never seem to be actually working.

This closure is unsustainable.. To get to our friends in Londonderry takes about an extra 15 minutes approx. Can't understand why these works are not carried out within the building site.

The closure of this road along with the closure of other roads in the area make it almost impossible for residents of West Bideford, including Londonderry Farm and Abbotsham to leave the area by vehicle. The person responsible for agreeing to these closures needs to return to school and study traffic management.

I live in moreton park road and this closure is making my road almost impossible to travel on ,sometimes takes me 10 minutes to get out of my drive and the speed some people travel it’s an accident waiting to happen

Total inconvenience with no access to link road. My journey to work takes longer going through Bideford Town Centre, particularly if traffic is busy at certain times. No thought went into starting these roadworks and a nightmare for everyone who has been inconveniened from this.
