Abbot Mill Residents In Favor of adding AT&T Cell Antenna to Smokestack

Please approve...if just for safety of residents.

Please approve the addition of more easily available communication. This is a safety issue as in the event of an emergency my cell phone does not work outside of my apartment. Thank you.

We have virtually no reception in our apartment!

It is both shocking that we don't have coverage on this highly populated area of Mass and also shocking that the town is failing to allow the two main carriers to built out the infrastructure to allow their customers service in their residences. Please allow AT&T to add a tower to Abbot Mill to bolster the cell reception for the town, hopefully Verizon will be able to follow suite soon.

Haven't needed a landline for years before moving to Abbot Mill. It's an odd pocket of nonconnectivity in an otherwise strong area of Massachusetts, and it seems long overdue for service.

This appears to be petty bureauctic local government at it's worst. Sprint did a fine installation job at the mill, totally in keeping as an appropriate update to an historic industrial building. I am sure that adding AT&T and at later Verizon will benifit the majority of Abbot Mill residents and all those local residents who are being denied service because they happen to be in a geogrhical hole. What has happened to reason?

My husband and I are starting a fourth year at Abbot Mill. We are AT&T customers and were forced to get a land line because of no cell coverage in are apartment. Our apartment faces Pleasant Street and when we put our phones near the window we still have no coverage.

I just moved in abbot mill and cannot connect with family nor business related because of the poor signal strength. Please let Att add the tower.

Friends and family do not have coverage when they visit my Abbot Mill apartment. I have Virgin Mobile and have full coverage. Other carriers should have a chance to increase their coverage at Abbot Mill and the surrounding area.

Reliable cell service is desperately needed throughout the Forge Village area. Please allow major carriers to install antennae for their customers.

I just moved into Abbot Mill a month ago. I have Verizon as my carrier and cell phone service is highly inadequate. Calls routinely drop out in just a few seconds. Very frustrating that this happens in an area in MA noted for its high-tech companies doing business in and around Westford.

Adding another cell provider to the smokestack would benefit many local residents with essential services and 911 with minimal physical or visual impact.

In and around Abbot Mill, there is no cell phone coverage, or, there is very minimal, unreliable coverage. Since Abbot Mill is a draw for new residents and business to Westford, it's reasonable to also provide them with the same reliable cell phone service that is found in the rest of Westford. As a participant in the state's Economic Development Incentive Program, Westford should meet the corresponding infrastructure needs of the people who inevitably come to reside in town as a result of that business growth. Furthermore, any improvement to cell coverage, regardless of carrier, increases safety for individuals caught in emergency situations. That benefit alone outweighs any arguments about negative aesthetic impacts. Personally, having cell phone coverage at home would allow me the option to work from home (currently commute to Cambridge) and give me peace of mind if I ever needed to report or receive an urgent call.

A land line is the only way to receive competent reception which forces us into an expensive bundled cable service. Good cell phone reception would eliminate this problem.

I support the addition of an AT&T Cell Antenna to the smokestack at Abbot Mill. I have been a tenant for almost two years and have no cellular reception anywhere around the Mill. I have a contract with AT&T and had to buy an extender just to use my phone in my apartment. Please give AT&T the right to add the cell antenna to the Abbot Mill smokestack.

It will be nice to have AT&T Cellular phone service to work inside and outside of the Abott Mill. I do receive some drop calls.

Have office at Abbot Mill, home is in Westford near the mill.

1A-13. Longtime AT&T customer here. The lack of service in abbot mill is a great inconvenience, we need a tower.

Sure would be great if I could use my cell phone at Abbot Mill! If I get any reception whenever anyone calls me, it is very poor and brief...as all calls go dead.
