Do the works at night after 8pm till 6am. there is no need to do the work , it is only so the council can get the full funding next year.

Its appalling i was stuck in it 4 times last weekend....tried dodging it, traffic bad through llandudno junction and Conway and sychnant pass...something must be done to ease the flow on a55...

I have to travel from Rhyl to Bangor university everyday as a student. I am also a Mum of a disabled child. I need reasonable passage home in case of emergency when he has fits. This situation with the A55 fills me with dread. Plus I was cut off by a truck swerving in to avoid the Traffic control officers vehicle closing the outside lane concealed on the bend before the Deganwy tunnel. I'm afraid to travel.

Would like them to use there brain for a change.i was stuck in Conwy tunnel for ages on Sunday .and the fans were not on . well done for picking half term

As from my personal side I have to travel from rhyl to Bangor 3 times a week, which with this problem it's causing my journey to be an 1 hour and 20 MINS long. Also as there are still problems with the rhyl hospital and maternity situation, I would gate to think how long it would take a ambulance to get to Bangor hospital.

What a total nightmare I am spending almost 5 extra hours traveling back and too usual have my tea at 18.30 and only just had it at 21.30. Got to be back on the road again at 07.30 in the morning. Thanks for nothing oh and the traffic lights that have been put up are a joke at one stage on red for 15 mins

Last Friday I was 30 mins late picking my son up from school! what should of taken 7 mins by car from my work and leaving with 20 mins to spare he was distraught! this can not go on for 9 weeks sort it out!

We have nearly had 2 collisions on the sycnant pass in 2 days. People don't realise the road is narrow at times. Also I walk my little girl to and from school. The amount of traffic is horrendous. We live in Penmaenmawr and most of the traffic speed through our little village to avoid delays. It's dangerous. I am not a driver and to be honest I don't think I want to be now.

Someone in ccbc highways dept should get the boot for this shambles. Send them onto the continent first though to see how it's done properly. Utterly inept and pathetic planning

Thanks for starting this petition. I joined the A55 at black cat roundabout and it took me 33 minutes to get to the tesco turn off - ridiculous !

I am working I down that way every day and allready sick of getting g stuck so I'm goin round the mountins to get bk to get home for my kids as the misses works every night its a night mare..

a55 is well outdated,where possible a third lane should be built to help ease holiday,roadwork traffic,come on welsh assembly all that money being spent on m4 and electrification of railway in south wales.a55 is main artery in north wales and for northern England and transport to ireland

The lane closures should be restricted to night time only. like the mersey Gateway project. the closures on the M56 were restricted. this was because of the safety concerns. the police wouldn't let them close a lane during the day!! why is the A55 different? Police and local authority have agreed to this work package plan... Cost before safety... yes project would cost more and take longer, but unacceptable the delays caused and the potential for a serious incident in the villages affected.
