Having roadworks for such a long period of time is not acceptable. Even though the removal of the roundabouts would improve the A55, the means of reaching this goal can not be the answer. Having the roadworks restricted to night time would be the answer and compromise!

Can't believe more thought hasn't gone into planning theses read works. Half term chaos, peak timev nightmare. I live locally and am avoiding travelling to Llandudno. The traffec going over tge sychnant pass has increased dramatically.

No consideration for road users or businesses who are losing hundreds of man hours due to pathetic road access to North Wales.

This is typical council/highways no consideration for anybody as it doesn't affect them everybody should claim back money back lost through sitting in the traffic.

Badly organised as usual. Tunnel works are necessary but the disruption is not.

I can't believe how badly this has been managed! Surely systems can be put in place to ease the congestion at peak times? I worry for the children walking to the primary schools as the amount of cars speeding through Penmaenmawr and Dwygyfylchi to travel over the pass to try and make up time after being stuck in the queues is very concerning. It also makes me wonder how badly businesses are going to be affected in the run up to Christmas? I have certainly been put off travelling unless absolutely necessary. A whole 9 weeks of this? I seriously worry for some commuters health due to the stress they are being put under when it is taking over an hour at peak times to take a journey which would usually take ten minutes. Appalling management.

Surely there is someone with a modicum of intelligence who could organize this work without causing such terrible traffic problems.

I am totally fed up of the continuous roadworks on the A55. My husband and children are having to get up earlier and earlier to make it to work and school on time and even so they have still been late on many occasions.

Fully understand necessity of work but journey times during peak hours is an absolute joke. Something needs to be done.

Please get an army of workers in and get this job moving 24/7. No one seems to be doing any visible work! As a health care worker in the community Anglesey/Bangor I can see this is having bad effects on staff providing emergency care, our patients coming from along the coast and students trying to get to Llandrillo. Most of the restrictions seem pointless. I have already sat in a queue for an hour one Tuesday afternoon because of an accident near the Puffin. It's a major road not a car park! SORT IT OUT!!!!!

Get more workers in to finish the job quicker and work at night?? Not rocket science?? I have no idea why the whole length of Conwy tunnel is made single file miles before the cones start? As a driver, your choice is to take the Sychnant pass and dice with death or sit for hours in traffic to make a few miles. Considering this is the main thoroughfare through North Wales it's an absolute shambles!!!
