This current layout stimulates a race track mentality. Have on numerous occasions had to urgently brake when other vehicles swerve in front of me.

I have always believed that this road is marked wrong and over half the time I use it there has been a close shave at the lights with people overtaking badly. I love living!

I nearly had a bad accident here only recently, when I was in the right hand land away from Chippenham about to go around a Lorry who didn't like it and swerve towards me! Pointing at himself shouting my way!!! Definitely dangerous there!

I agree. Having two lanes encourages people to overtake there then suddenly run out of space when they get to the other side! Cue RTC.

I support this petition whole hearted as I have been run off the road more than once by people trying to over take and then pushing in. It is a accident hot spot. For god sake listen to the people that drive it and have their lives put at risk everyday by idiots that can't wait a few seconds. I would prefer to get there late than not get there at all. Xx

I think it's a good idea especially as the garden centre is planning larger premises .
