Willow Run and DTW are both within a half of hour of Ann Arbor and can accommodate jets. There is no need for a longer runway at the Ann Arbor Airport.

I strongly oppose the extension of the Ann Arbor Airport runway.

The Ann Arbor Airport has already posted significant disturbance to the neighboring communities. The numerous flights that are taking off and landing have created an extremely unpleasant living environment for hundreds of families. The airport should be decommissioned rather than being expanded! The constant high noise is known to increase cardiovascular disease risk in the elder population, which make a great proportion of our community demographics. I am surprised and astonished that this airport continues to function, leaving the health of hundreds of people into oblivion. Why should tax payers pay to destruct our own living environment and health?

There is a very large airport a few miles away that is big enough to land a c5 galaxy! Not to mention that there is a lot of open real estate there at Willow run Airport also!

Do not ruin the peaceful sky's of Southern washtenaw county. Also with willow run and metro airports there is no need to spend the money.
