It’s ridiculous how the rich and famous have come to take over Ann Arbor and turn it into a mini Chicago junkie city. More money, more problems, more homeless I’m pushing out the people who made it great in the first place!

I wish I could post a picture of the WillowRun tarmac on a UofM Game Day Morning. NO ONE in Ann Arbor would want this at ARB (what pilots call Ann Arbor Airport).

Ann Arbor Airport’s need to expand is non existent yet the consequences for moving forward have many safety issues e.g., low flying planes, noise/air pollution and polluting Ann Arbor drinking water and many others.
Be good neighbors Ann Arbor Council, keep your neighbors in both your city and Pittsfield township safe-reject the expansion!

Simply put this will only benefit the weathy athletic donors to save 15 minutes by not landing at Willow Run airport.

This intended extension is unneeded, unhealthy & against the Ann Arbor "green/carbon neutral" policy!

Moving plane take-offs so close to Lohr Road will make it unsafe for folks living under the flight path after take-off. (It's not just the 800-foot extension....but also the additional 150-foot shift to the southwest.) The most recent crash landing was in the bean field on the west side of Lohr R. If the end of the runway had been 957 feet further to the southwest, it might have been more likely to have landed on top of a house. (There have been crashes in the Stonebridge golf course in the past even without the runway extension/shift.) Bigger planes can use Willow Run. There is no need to expand Ann Arbor's airport, which would benefit very few people, but put many more at risk.

This expansion does not serve the majority of the A2 community while increasing noise and air pollution.

We must stop this madness, we do not need more jets for rich people to save a few minutes, they can go to Willow Run. The planes violate the rules by flying too low and regulations are not enforced.
