Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

The overwhelming damage that this route would cause is priceless. Farmland, wildlife, just to mention two of those that will be grossly affected.... think wisely about the immeasurable and irreparable damage to Binsted both financially and economically if this goes ahead. There are no words when you put roads through the homes of animals and humans alike

I've enjoyed the strawberry fair for a few years now, and it would be a shame to see it gone.

I say NO to more roads ..we destroy 100's of species in just wantung to get somewhere faster. Our proirities are all wrong.

We've lived in Walberton for five years and completely oppose the Binsted route. The shortest possible bypass, with measures to alleviate pinch points, is the only defensible option.

It is essential that our heritage and wildlife are not destroyed, or rounded up and dumped together in ever decreasing natural habitat - why are cars and homes that our children can't afford being given priority over history and our children's inheritance?

Really necessary. Delays for the whole of West Sussex.

Enough countryside is being built on for housing without land and communities being destroyed for roads.

The bypass is needed and this is the has got to be done sensibly without ruining this village. It is time something is done soon sensible ASP

My nieces father is buried here and its a disgrace for anything to be built through or near a cemetry or church.

My uncle is buried here and it is somewhere the family visit 3 times a year

The idea of pillaging an ancient woodland is ludicrous. In today's times we should be very thankful to these very rare sites. Binsted is a beautiful location providing habitat to some rather declining species including the dormouse. We would rather have a younger generation educated about wildlife than pollution. A new route for traffic is needed around the area but not at the sake of ancient woodland full of good nature.

Binstead is a very pretty village within a park which needs peace and quiet. Please re-route the by- pass elsewhere.

My dad is burried in binstead church its also my nans resting place. Im sure there's other routes that the bypass rather then this beautiful village.

Having campaigned so vigorously for a South Downs national Park, it is inconceivable that I would not oppose a trunk road that damages the integrity of the National Park.
