Leave Binstead just as it is.

The thought of this is disgusting! i have just been for a walk around Binsted and the surrounding countryside, it is unthinkable that this could be ruined!! How much more of our country must be lost to housing and road building??!!

I fully support this petition. Binsted has a wealth of wildlife and an active community that would be destroyed if the new bypass ran through the village.

I am appalled to hear that this is even being considered . It's unimaginable . don't do it

No need for alternative a disaster for Arundel Binstead etc.dual carriage existing and cover. At Arundel station split with one dual going to back of station. Spoiling the spectacular view from Arundel would be un necessary.line new route with trees and cover with wild grass

There are other, more modern solutions to this road: look at Hindhead. This is not the 70s! Tortington is unique world heritage.

Binsted woods are stunning and morally we are obligated to protect a rare unmanaged woodland for future generations. It would be unforgivable to damage this wonderful natural resource for an ineffective and misguided attempt to improve transport infrastructure.

I would rather sit in a traffic jam than get rid of ancient woodland and natural habitat for Sussex's wildlife.

Binsted is one of the few areas of ancient woodland left that are relatively unspoiled. It's crucial for wildlife - and for anyone seeking solace from the constant insanity of overdevelopment already destroying the south coast of England. Leave it and surrounding Walberton and Binsted Village alone!

I don't agree with any proposal that damages the National Park, surrounding countryside, and wildlife. The areas of Binsted are not ours to tarmac, they should be left for our children and our children's children to enjoy and continue to respect.

If this option saves homes, wildlife, woodland and fulfils the required objectives, then it must be the correct route by default.

I feel that the environmental impact will be terrible, and we are loosing lots of areas of Land, Hedgerows, Trees, and other wildlife Habitats, And the damage of property could be financially damaging.

No destruction of Binsted village!. No more loss of trees!

I would be very sad if this beautiful area was to become yet another bypass generating yet more traffic and pollution.

Although living in East Sussex I know the Arundel and Binsted areas very well and feel that much more care is required in the management of the busy traffic. More roads always result in more traffic

It is requested that the (largely 'on-line') 'New Purple Route' advocated by the Arundel A27 Forum should be included among the options to be put forward by Highways England for public consultation in 2017.

As usual government and business riding roughshod over peoples views and requirements. When are governments going to learn they are here to serve us not us here for their benefit.
