Keep our historic villages as they are, once we have lost those irreplaceable gems they are gone for ever.

The shorter option is less distructive & will be more affordable so makes sense .

Transparency and information on ALL options should be shown by HE to have been investigated. Check all of HE's figures add up they didn't for Chichester. Proof of all costings (not available with FOI to HE for Chichester's 7 options) should be made public. Why is your MP intent on the option through Binsted? Who is pulling whose strings? What closed door, unminuted meetings persuading his opinion has he made like Tyrie made in Chichester? Any savings in Arundel should be made available to Chichester. Arundel's budget is £350M. Chichester has a budget of £250M! Feudalism continues in Chichester, is it the same for Arundel? Chichester community voices continue, glad to see Arundel's voices are speaking up too!

The off-line bypass proposals are very costly and environmentally damaging to resolve what in effect is a relatively short daily problems during rush hours. The on-line solution addresses the main issues and is least damaging environmentally.

By saving money on a shorter less destructive bypass at Arundel more funds can be freed up to provide a proper long term bypass solution for Chichester

It's roundabouts that primarily cause delays, so the short route removing several from existing route is a good idea

I'm an ex resident of Arundel with many friends in the town . Having spoken about the bypass with them I'm inclined to go with the option of leaving the road as it is.

It is clear the bypass is not for the good of Arundel but purely to allow more development of housing in the area. The bypass is completely unnecessary and online improvements are cheaper for the government and also environmentally friendly.

Other options, less damaging to countryside and villages, should be brought to public consultation so that the people whose lives this will affect are given a voice in the decision.

I am an HGV driver based in Southampton and I regularly pass through this area along the A27, I think that a bypass would be a good thing but not if it is going to trash this beautiful piece of countryside.

Yes it's needed but for god sake avoid Banstead and Torrington villages. Find a less damagaing more direct option via consultation. A bit of thought wouldn't go amiss. T allen.

It can never be a good thing to just destroy beautiful and historic villages. Some countryside will inevitably be lost, but villages and dwellings should be preserved.
