Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

Cut the number of cars, that's the real problem. The whole area is a nightmare. No need to ruin more beautiful villages.

Please invest the money in improving public transport, particularly the railways, instead. I am sure many others, like me, would use the road a lot less if the trains were cheaper in line with European prices and more reliable. Put freight back on the railways too and off the road. A bypass will only move the problem elsewhere. A creative, long term solution is needed.

Disgusting to ruin what's left of the countryside. Better off doing a toll road or park and ride

To destroy the calm and tranquility of this area would be criminal

This will ruin so many lives and so many animals.

PLEASE do not destroy the unique Binsted woods.

Please do not build the Arundel Bypass through binsted it would be a national disaster.

Please don't destroy this wonderful peaceful village and surrounding area. I visit my parents in nearby Walberton frequently and couldn't do without the walking and running routes nearby.

Option 1 is the least damaging

All the wildlife and nature of the Binsted area plus the many rural activities that I have participated in suggest to me that the BINsted rout should be BINNED

Nick Herbert MP must do all he can to act responsibly in helping preserve what little remains of a very precious sensitive green environment in an intensely built-up overcrowded traffic-polluted-corner of England for the physical health and mental well being of future generations.

Option 1 is the least costly and less devastating to the natural habitat

This route is completely unreasonable financially, ethically, geographically & destructively unrealistic

One of the places we go to get away from it all. PLEASE don't spoil it !!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever has the privilege of residing in, there are other options available and the village of Binsted must be protected at all costs......

Its absurd to ruin Binsted and it's countryside when the road all ready goes through Arundel

I believe there are many other possible paths that can avoid the village and country side of Binstead village,

This is such a beautiful unspoilt part of the country it would be tragic if the proposal to build the Arundel bypass were to go ahead

On environmental grounds any route that destroys ancient woodland or impacts on Binstead village should be rejected. Minimal impact on countryside should be the option.

It must be possible to avoid Binsted and its beautiful, vitally important woods and countryside.
