Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

There would seem to be far better solutions to this transport issue than running a bypass through Binsted Village

Please look at other options that do less damage to our architectural and natural heritage.

Needless destruction .

Stupid option to keep building more roads. Let's invest in public transport

Binsted is a beautiful environment and its needless destruction would be a tragedy.

Please consider the wildlife as well as the village! One decision that cannot be reversed.

Please save the woods, they are beautiful and part of our history.

The woods are precious to all, human, wildlife and nature. #SaveOurForests

Not when there is a less destructive route.

I have often visited the area and can appreciate its stunning beauty and wildlife. Why destroy more of our precious countryside?

More roads merely leads to more traffic leading to more roads leading to....

This route would blast through an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Oppose Binstead bypass. Think bypass coming out at Ford would be a waste of time and money as needs to come out on dual carriageway. Still feel Worthing needs to be addressed first as fixing Arundel will make it worse.

Once beautiful countryside is lost it can never be reclaimed. Just because this route may appear to be the right option because of its proximity to Arundel, ...out of sight ... Out of mind ...doesn't make it ecologically or environmentally right.

Tearing the heart out of a historic village and its people, destroying beautiful woodland and countryside, destroying important habitats for wildlife, lost forever.

The shortest route, would be the most practical and the most affordable, as well as having the less impact on fragile natural environments.

Having lived in Binsted for 12 years and still in the local area I am discussed at the thought of Option 5A. In fact i don't like any of the options if I had to choose it would option 1 and slowing the traffic down which would immediately aid congestion. The Oak trees the local residents and wildlife are all at risk.....this is concerning many people and actually ruining people lives.

Totally oppose the Binsted route.

Instead of ruining what's left of our beauty woodland areas and sacred villages, I strongly suggest going ahead with option 1 which is more eco friendly and doesn't affect the good folk of Binsted village and surrounding areas.

Just kicking the Can down the road. Alleviate here, the congestion moves somewhere else. Does our Countryside stand for nothing.
