Too long. Too much devastation. of woodland , villages, wildlife . A shorter less expensive route would be better

I think, as a nation, we are all effected by this scheme as it contributes massively to the loss of biodiversity. As we break up our landscape bit by bit for schemes like this, important wildlife corridors and habitats are being continuously broken and destroyed. wildlife is getting to a critical level and soon will not be able to recover from this relentless attack. I understand that the site is important for several endangered mice species and bats (amounts other things) and is an important corridor between ancient woodlands. This scheme absolutely should not be approved. .

I object to the Arundel bypass.

It’s not necessary, and will just unnecessarily increase traffic on other routes, it should if at all only involve joining up the ends that were never linked up when it was built, ie. Crossbush to the white swan pub on the A27, rather than some ridiculously long detour across prime farmland and villages.
The traffic around arundel is never really that bad anyway, certainly not bad enough to justify the destruction planned by highways England.

Just - such a bad idea - more pollution, environmental vandalism, more destruction of our beautiful countryside and wildlife. There are no plus points to this scheme.

This is an area of natural beauty which needs to be protected at all costs. It is an ancient woodland in Binsted.

The bypass will just increase the traffic flow and cause more congestion elsewhere

Stop this. We do not need bigger roads. We need nature and wildlife to be left alone

We need to be more considerate and conserve areas of interest and natural beauty when alternatives exist, it shouldn’t just be about cost but synergy with the environment

The damage to the environment is extensive and the costs too high. There are other roads in West Sussex which need upgrading before this proposal.
