Another solution is required- we need to protect our wildlife...

The proposed Option 5A will have wide-ranging and devastating impacts on the native fauna and flora in this area - wildlife that has evolved over millennia will be wiped out at a stroke. Other, less damaging options are available and must be chosen to protect out heritage for future generations

The A27 Arundel Bypass proposal will increase air and noise pollution within a unique area of natural beauty destroying forever a treasured iconic landscape and vital green lung. This irresponsible proposal threatens the physical and mental health of present and future generations.

Once it's gone, it's gone forever. Our countryside is more valuable than ever, offering a refuge from the increasingly overcrowded environment, as well as habitat for our precious wildlife. Stop building houses!! Houses = more cars = overcrowded roads = the need for bypasses. Can't help but feel that someone's getting mighty rich from all this building - and society will suffer as a result. STOP!!!

Option 5a should not be built. It will sever wildlife corridors which are vital for the movement of wildlife and will result in the fragmentation of the remaining habitat. It will also destroy 10h if ancient woodland considered to be the best on the south coast plain - you can’t mitigate against this loss of habitat.

I oppose the option 5A route as well as the preferred northern route for the Chichester bypass. This desecration of the countryside must be opposed and stopped.

Protect the ancient woodlands and water meadows. No bypass, we have never needed it.

There is no need to damage the natural and rural environment as there are far less destructive options.

Option 5A is worst most destructive proposal. On line with a tunnel under Hospital hill & Ford rd. flyover would minimise environment damage while avoiding delays.

Save our ancient woodlands. Without our woodlands, we wouldn't need roads because there wouldn't be any of us left...

This was rightly stopped and put to bed years ago.. Whose (not so) bright idea was it to resurrect the bypass idea.
