What a stupid idea, on every level, so be encouraging more cars into the roads around Arundel AND at the expense of natural habitats!

What is the carbon footprint of an yo fthe HE suggestions? Why declare climate emergency & then vote to build the very things that will make it worse? ADC & WSCC take note.

Another criminally destructive plan for no significant benefit!

Your proposal will cause severe and unnecessary damage to the local area - destroying ancient habitat and wrecking local communities. Please select less destructive options such as the Arundel Alternative.

A dual carriageway from Arundel would devastate this lovely area. The Arundel alternative plan is much more sympathetic.

Please dont destroy more countryside for the sake of short gains in transit times along the A27

This would leave a hugely damaging legacy. It is unsustainable. It cannot be allowed for the sake of us and future generations.

The videos demonstrate that those with the authority have no understanding of the environments the propose to destroy. Do they ever even visit these places?

We should be planting more trees not cutting down beautiful old ones.

We do not want our countryside to be destroyed.Arundel alternative is the only one to be considered.A 40 mph road is the only one to be considered.

New Superhighways are not the solution to future proof our transport infrastructure. The 'Arundel Alternative' offers us a real alternative to the costly and destructive approach now offered by HE.

I REJECT routes for the Arundel bypass which sever the Arun valley watermeadows, Tortington and Binsted and Walberton villages, our beautiful countryside and rural heritage. These big new roads will cause local species extinctions, wreck local rural communities, and make climate change worse. I RECOMMEND that another option, less damaging to countryside and villages, should be preferred by the Department for Transport: the Arundel Alternative, a short, wide-single carriageway bypass on the mainly online alignment of Cyan or Beige - but not high-speed dual. The Arundel Alternative provides all we need to keep traffic sufficiently moving - and it doesn't cost the earth.

Please help make this possible?

I treasure all my childhood memories of Binsted and am horrified by any plan that will wreck this lovely, tucked away hamlet.

That's shocking Mike, when they have said they have written to residents in places as far afield as Littlehampton Bognor and Horsham. You should definitely complain.

Tortington seems forgotten in all this debate. Our group of 5 houses has had no communication at all from Highways England

Our beautiful countryside cannot sustain this relentless development. We have to protect our ancient countryside from short sighted easy option planning. This is vandalism.

Enough ! we need to reduce emissions not encourage their use by destroying ancient landscapes. Stop concreting and tarmacing over our countryside

Please find a better route. Once it's gone, it's gone.
