Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

Arundel Alternative is a far better idea especially as Englands speed limits are being significantly reduced in many countys both towns and duel carriageways. This is to keep pollution down and traffic flowing smoothly and it works......Arundel can do the same with less impact on the surrounding villages of Binsted, Walberton, Tortington and Slindon. Let the Woodlands continue doing a fine job of soaking up carbon emissions before we poison ourselves. There are fewer and fewer places left for tranquility and 'me time' ....let's not ruin the Ancient Woodland and village with greed and speed. Keep the community of Binsted intact for young, old and generations to come, it's a wonderful old place.

We reject the proposed route of the A27 bypass. Please save our diminishing lovely countryside and villages of Tortington, Binsted and Walberton

The Arundel alternative makes more sense all round, keep traffic flowing, speed is not the priority here.

I fully support this sensible alternative.

Green spaces , especially in stunning landscapes should be protected .

Please consider the Arundel alternative to preserve our increasingly fragile countryside and its wildlife. We must take responsibility for our planet and this is a good compromise which will make make one small but important step in the right direction. Thank you.

If the A27 went through Binsted it would absolutely ruin the villages around it and would completely destroy binsted and all the lovely woods around it

This is outrageous, soon there will be no countryside left. Surely, there must be a better route.

All options for big new roads which make extinct many local species and cut off local villages wrecking the South Downs National Park landscape.

If you must build any sort of motorway through such beautiful countryside let it be the short beige /cyan route with a 40 mph limit

We need to protect the ancient woodland and the beautiful countryside around Arundel, the people of Binsted' s homes and the rich diversity of flora and fauna that graces this most special and unique habitat. In the time of climate change, with the urgent need to save our threatened wildlife- how can any other route be even considered! The Arundel Alternative is the ONLY one. Please, think about the impact, the devastation, the ruination that is all beyond repair, if any other route is chosen. Think now, before it's all too late. Thank you.

This is yet another disastrous proposal in 2019, nearly 2020, when we should be talking about saving the environment and trying to wean ourselves off the motorcar. Why ruin more beautiful countryside just so that people can reach their destination more quickly despite habitats, animals and birds lives being ruined, as well as villages and peoples lives?

Roads should be directed away from where people live NOT slice through a community

If a more economical route has been suggested, that will be drastically less harmful towards the environment, nature's inhabitants and the population of the surrounding villages/towns, the decision must crucially rest on the shoulders of those who have the environments best interests at heart. Especially in a time like now, where climate change is at an all time critical stage, it is a necessity that we do all we can within our power to help where and however we can.

This area is so important to everyone, it must not be destroyed

new roads create more traffic and more traffic jams.at this time of climate emergency we should NOT be building more roads anywhere, but spending the money on public transport systems.
