Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

Too much destruction is already going on, destruction of wildlife and their habitats.

do not despoil this area with more roads !!!!!

Every metre of precious nature reserve is necessary to preserve our wonderful flora and fauna.

This beautiful area should be protected and remain as unspoilt as it is now. Value the countryside do not ruin it

Please build on brown field. Leave our beautiful nature alone for us and our children to enjoy and for the healthy ecological balance of our planet. We live walking here. So beautiful.

Although I now live in Devon, I am from Sussex and count it as my home county. The Arundel area is beautiful and an important ecological place and needs to be preserved and protected.

A fave short holiday destination that will no longer attract if this happens.

Hands off our countryside

It is vital that disruption is kept to an absolute minimum to ensure that the environment is protected and the damaging effects of road building are restricted to the smallest area possible. It is essential that the climate crisis is a real threat to all and transport is a major contributor and its impact needs to be reduced to the minimum.

This area is beautiful and should be protected in the way local people suggest.

I no longer live in the area but enjoyed it's wildlife in the past. This route is ridiculously damaging

More roads = more global warming and loss of natural habitats. It has to stop.

Can’t loose anything else our natural world is running out of space. Got nowhere to go. It just doesn’t move it has to fight for survival. All the little creatures are lost for ever with the bulldozers. Our world is a mess with the distraction man has done. Please don’t do this. Our natural world is dying. Even in the last 10 years the decline in wildlife is frightening!!! PLEASE DONT DO THIS

Leave our countryside alone!

I commute past Arundel for much of my work and feel that the proposed road alterations must be done sensitively to avoid catastrophic destruction of natural habitats and corridors

Save our natural habitats.

Highways England should respect the environment and to Save Arundel's Countryside by preferring the Arundel Alternative.

For heavens sake we’ve known for decades that building news roads or widening existing ones only encourages people to make longer or a new road journey instead of a less Carbon intensive one. If we are serious about doing something about the climate emergency we are facing business as usual is not a sensible thing to continue.
