Choose the environmentally friendly option. How many more floods, fires and loss of species do you want to see? The world cannot afford any more sloppy planning decisions. Think.

The money would be better spent on public transport.

We are in a Climate Emergency. Precious wildlife and and natural resources need protecting now more than ever. Building new bigger roads does not help with traffic issues. We need to rethink how we get around and invest in more sustainable transport. If a new road is needed for the benefit of local residents, it should be designed to have minimal environmental impact.

This land should never be sacrificed for a road. It's too important

As I drive through Arundel to visit relatives I understand how frustrating the queuing and level of traffic is. However, a bypass which tarmacs over precious countryside is NOT the answer. There needs to be a total rethink on this traffic problem

Although I don't live in that area I have seen first hand the damage caused by the destruction of water meadows. You would have thought they would have learnt by now

Road building has never, and will never solve congestion. It only generates more traffic!

When will we wake up and stop destroying our countryside

We need to drastically reduce the volume of traffic. Destroying natural habitats is not going to improve our country's climate nor lower the volume of traffic. It's a lose lose situation. Take the less unfriendly option, please

Fed up with civic bodies not listening-the people have spoken. Leave Arundel alone!

What is being done to our countryside is scandalous and immoral

A dual carriageway will encourage a lot more traffic, as well as destroying habitats and beautiful landscape. It's not the right solution for the future.

Arundel is very special and doesn't need ruining with motorway style roads. The Climate change argument against road building is irrefutable.

Select the Arundel Alternative. Do not cut thtough the water meadows. Too many wildlife habitats would otherwise be destroyed
