Listen to the people of Arundel and if there is a more cost effective and less damaging alternative then it is a no brainer and absolutely should be the route to go with

This is a very special area of the country and its landscape needs to be protected. Watermeadows are really important features of river's s flood pains and need to be left intact.

Too much destruction of wild AND semi-wild habitats will be the ruin of us all - eventually

We must protect this beautiful natural area and our biodiversity

If the money spent on roads was put into subsidising public transport, there would be less traffic on the roads, hence faster moving traffic, and not more destruction of the irreplaceable countryside, so necessary for the health of the environment

At some time in the future the importance of the natural environment will be recognised and schemes such as this wouldn't even get off the drawing board. Let that time be NOW! Just for once, let's take the responsible option PLEASE and go for the alternative route. Thank you.

We must do all we can to protect our finite natural spaces. Choose a less damaging route

No one needs a bypass around stunning and iconic Arundel. We need to tackle climate change NOW by discouraging endless road transport because of bad planning. Time for a new era where the car, lorry etc are socially unacceptable.

It is time to factor into road projects a financial cost representing environmental damage. Everyone hates the a27 but everyone also wishes to limit thoughtless and unaccountable damage to the ever depleting countryside. Leave a better legacy.

There are better routes available that won’t destroy a village , tear down peoples homes and destroy long standing businesses. As a taxpayer l do not want my money spent on destroying binsted, so why is the council or powers that be insisting on going for the most expensive route? Backhanders going on here? If you are one the councillors feel very ashamed of yourself. Wish it was your village or town , house or business. Karma

By destroying this area you are adding to the climate emergency, there must be an alternative
