Come on Elaine! What is a bit of boring wildlife compared to getting home earlier on a Friday night! i wouldn't want my beers becoming warm.

The Grey Route for the A27 Arundel Bypass will severely damage the village communities, wildlife and nature in the Arun Valley. We are supposed to be guardians of this planet and, as such, we must help to preserve our beautiful countryside, not destroy it. The Arundel Alternative is a much more sympathetic, less expensive and practical route.

Enough of our beautiful English country side paying the price for yet more roads to save a couple of minutes on a car journey that actually should not be taken, with the funds instead spent on public transport run on renewable energy for EVERYONE that’s fit for purpose

Please don’t build the grey route. Please be in the right side of history and build the Arundel Alternative instead. This road building is not worth the optimistic 9 minute journey time saving. It’s not worth the huge cost, the public transport and cycling infrastructure not funded to fund the road, it’s not worth the damage to the diverse wildlife and countryside it will destroy and its not worth it in terms of more damage to the climate. It’s not worth it in terms of the increase in pollution and because it will be pointless because congestion will get worse in worthing and return to previous levels in Arundel within a few years.

The proposed Grey route is wholly inappropriate and would destroy communities, the environment and wildlife, much of it rare and protected by law. It would do nothing to alleviate traffic problems and would merely increase them.

Once this natural flood plain is lost to tarmac , ruining existing communities, ancient woodland and churches, it will cause untold damage to environment.

This is throwing money at moving the problem. New roads attract new traffic. Countryside established over millenia is irreplaceable.

A waste of public money and destroys wildlife and village communities together with endangering children at Walberton and Binsted CofE School thorough pollution and vastly increased traffic through Walberton village past the school entrances

The Arundel alternative is the only option, divert the grey route money to sorting lancing, Worthing and Chichester

We don't need more roads in a time of climate destruction what we need are viable alternatives.
We never learn in this country once destroyed never regained.
