We would never have selected the school knowing the future of the landscape. It’s ridiculous that because of one man in binsted a whole school suffers

This is such a beautiful, tranquil area which I love visiting - why destroy it for the sake of a few minutes.

We cannot lose the very valuable countryside.

The grey route is absolute madness. Destroying more country side to save minimal time. The original road destroyed enough of the villages and community so why do it all again...

We cannot keep destroying our wild places, what sort of countryside will our grandchildren inherit? After destroying an area where wildlife thrive, all that will happen is traffic will reach the next traffic queue on the Chichester bypass two minutes faster.

This bypass is unnecessary. We must prevent the wanton destruction of the countryside.

nice to see an actual alternative proposal, rather than the continual "no" I've seen historically. Definitely prefer the arundel alternative.

This route is only 145m from my children’s school, the pollution and noise will be extremely damaging to their health and education

I object to any child being subjected to air pollution caused by traffic close to our children's schools. If the Mayor of London is reducing air pollution, why are we actively introducing it next to our primary schools? No Grey Route.

My daughters go to the preschool and the primary School in Walberton, this road is absolutely outrageous and unnecessary. It will cause an incredible amount of damage to the countryside, the villages and to the children's health. If the Mayor of London is reducing air pollution from traffic around schools how can you possibly think putting the Grey route near a primary school, a preschool and a play centre is a good idea? https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/56338404#:~:text=Results%20of%20a%20new%20study,air%20pollution%20in%20the%20area.&text=The%20levels%20of%20nitrogen%20dioxide,oxide%20fall%20by%2034%20percent.

The Grey route is ridiculous ... ripping our village apart to by-pass a perfectly good existing stretch of dual carriageway.

I really hope that this most damaging, most expensive (and least chosen in the consultation) route is stopped

This route is not the best choice for the surrounding villages to Arundel

Totally unjustified just to 20 mins of driving time

More countryside ruined & money spent, just so that traffic can rush through. Surely the Arundel Alternative provides a less intrusive, less costly route, whilst causing less disruption to villages and landscape.
