This is dreadful! The reason the roads are congested is because there’s too many cars. Properly fund public transport so that it is connected and affordable and create amazing cycle routes so people can get active when they commute. Listen to the people! This route has so few votes. You’re damaging habitats and communities and all whilst knowing that we’re in a climate crisis.

I believe this is wrong on so many levels.

Totally pointless destruction of people's lives and the environment.Pandering to massive conglomerate interests and not hearing what people need or want. There is a climate emergency using these funds to help insulate houses would be a far wiser use of funding with so many people struggling financially, and actually beneficial for all as we move asap to net zero be emissions.

There has to be another way, you can't keep on destroying our lovely countryside and villages

I spent my early childhood in Binsted, and have countless fond memories of exploring it's lanes and woods. It's a magical place, and retained it's appeal even returning later in life. I would strongly prefer it not be destroyed to make way for more A27.

Surely in the year 2022 there is a better solution to the problem than building fatter roads and destroying the precious countryside .

The National Highways' chosen Grey Route will be the most costly blot on the landscape, for a matter of 4.9 miles. The Arundel Alternative route is the less damaging and cheaper solution.

The grey route is an enormously expensive option which will damage forever the environment and vistas around Arundel. The Arundel alternative is a much better plan.

There are bottlenecks at Chichester and Worthing too. Saving 10 minutes here isn't worth the destruction of Binsted woods and the damage to Binsted and Walberton villages. We should be protecting Woodlands, there is a climate emergency. No more new roads!!!

This bypass will literally ruin the villages it will run through never mind the trees and wildlife that will be affected and destroyed

Total waste of money to save a few minutes at peak times and it only passes the problem to Chichester or Worthing

Too much money when cheaper alternatives and destroying a instead Walberton and Arundel for very little gain especially given Chichester is already an issue fir congestion

Build roads and more cars will come. We need active travel options to reduce car dependency and free up the roads we have.
