This proposed bypass would be an act of total environmental vandalism. Destruction of established and precious ecosystems aside, it will just shift today's traffic jams a couple of miles further along the A27.

Destroying beautiful countryside is not the answer to accommodate more cars. Build above the existing A27, like they do in America.

Given what we know about climate breakdown and the need not just to protect but enhance and strengthen biodiversity this damaging proposal needs to stop. We need to find better ways of tackling the 'Arundel' problem.

There is not one single reason that can justify the A27 Bypass going ahead and plenty of valid reasons why it should be stopped. Also the consultation data provided to support the Bypass is flawed and out of date!

I drive this route regularly to see relations in Kent. There is no need to devastate this beautiful South Downs landscape for this. We can do better than this. Tarmac is not the solution.

Unnecessary and destructive option with no real benefit (other than 'access' to build more unneeded homes). Grey option should be scrapped!

I am appalled that this bypass route was even considered. A less damaging route is a must.
Having lived in Sussex as a schoolboy it saddens me to contemplate what harm might be caused by the proposed bypass.
