It's not the locals who want the Bypass it's the people who don't live there and just pass through not seeing the beauty of the place. In their busy life's.

I fully support this petition. Binsted is a beautiful village with a diversity of wildlife and an active community. It would destroy the area if the new bypass ran through the village.

I regularly drive along the A27. I would rather sit in traffic than destroy a village community.

There won't be any villages or countryside left soon. So much has been destroyed already. Ancient woodland can never be replaced....ever !

Not needed and will destroy homes and family businesses.

Because it's an historic village in a beautiful position and would spoil the tranquility of the area

Vitally needed and long overdue. The savings on local environment, time, fuel costs are incalculable.

Avoid Binstead but for the sake of the environment, GET ON WITH an Arundel bypass for the A27 NOW! How many years has this been discussed now?

Having visited this lovely village and enjoyed its peace and tranquillity and the amenities it offers, I would urge that there is a serious re-thinking of the proposed route for the bypass. The loss of these precious areas of our countryside can never be replaced and damage our heritage for ever.

It would be an indescribable tragedy if Binsted was "murdered" by a road being put through it. SAVE BINSTED at all costs!

It would be a truly awful mistake to ruin the village of Binsted - once gone it would be too late to go back. Make the right decision for this community and it's local wildlife and woodland now.

The optimum solution for the A27 in the Arundel area is basically the purple route, possibly upgraded to dual carriageway between Crossbush and the River Arun. To build the fanciful monstrosities would not only be outrageously expensive that cannot be cost justified but also a 'blot on the landscape' destroying the life of a village.

The flow of traffic through Arundel is required, that word is FLOW not RACE. Roads must serve locals and through traffic alike. Not an elevated (!) expressway causing harm, noise and destruction.
