A bypass through Binstead and its surrounding countryside would be totally inappropriate, especially when other options are available eg the plan put forward by the Arundel A27 forum.

Fully oppose the Binsted Option and ask HE to find a shorter bypass which resolves the traffic issues round Arundel and minimises its adverse impact on the environment

When will we start being imagainative? The car is not king and life is much more than economics. Binsted is too beautiful to be destroyed for cars .

Why do we need to destroy our countryside which should be treasured particularly in this part of Sussex. More public transport and less cars would be the viable answer.

This is a community who care about their countryside and each other that would be destroyed by this road destructing woodland and homes, The road needs another option.

I travel down this road regularly and the traffic is horrendous but I don't think the traffic should go through the beautiful village of binstead

At this time the way to proceed would be to use the underpass method at East side of Arundel and run bridge over Arundel just south of Arundel Station accross what is now the Builders Yard and extend the roundabout and then put a link road to the West Bank roundabout . Then have a Three lane both ways fluting down to two lanes before the pub on A27 put a roundabout with lights at this point so that pub can get customers or have it as the northern most part of road. Then Just past Walberton make it Three lane by the Hotel on left side of road towards Chichester with a method of accessing Tangmere Air museum . This requires minimal disruption to the area.

This is an unspoilt village- we can't loose another village- if the road goes ahead- the GOVERMENT will allow houses to be built there also- NO ROAD
