The absence of a bypass is a disgrace - a nonsense - and has been for years. So when it does happen it ought to at least have some respect for the local beauty spots and for those who have had to put up with the hassle over the years. I am very pleased to sign this petition.

don't destroy my friends' beautiful house and gardens. They have put their life and soul into creating a haven for themselves and for birds and other wildlife.

Would cause a gradual erosion of wildlife an area where a perfectly good road can be upgraded

The tail back where the road splits for Littlehampton and Arundel are awful and people go in Littlehampton lane then cut across to Arundel. No respect for Arundel traffic just barge in. Save our villages

This area is beautiful. It is used by many people, horse riders, bikers, campers, walkers. It would be completely destroyed by the bypass going through, taking with it a whole countryside way of life. Taking away the natural habitat of many birds and other wildlife, making it unsafe and undesirable to many residents and visitors. Don't destroy our countryside heritage when other solutions could be found.

A tranquil, unspoilt area - it should remain so.

Do not build a bypass through the South Downs National Park. Encourage less traffic, not more.
