To protect the countryside and rural heritage when an alternative solution exists.

This scheme is an expensive and destructive proposal which will have a disastrous effect on the communities of Walberton and BInsted, destroy natural habitats and environment and increase air and noise pollution over a wide area. It might knock a few minutes off journey time between Crossbush and Arundel at peak times but at a terrible cost. However, Ii will increase journey times for local residents of neighbouring villages because of restricted access to through routes sending local heavy goods vehicles through the narrow streets of Walberton.

I'm against yet another polluting, destroying Highway project! I walk with my dog on Arundel's countryside and this is not acceptable in a beautiful natural spot like this. NO to the Bypass!

I undertook two beetle surveys in this beautiful area. A rich area for wildlife.

We don't need more roads. We need more open space and less pollution.

I believe that a sustainable future which will reach Climate Change targets demands less road transport and a shift back to rail. This woodland destroying scheme is counterproductive in that respect.

Reject the grey route - the alternative is cheaper and greener, let's protect our precious nature and heritage.

Money should be invested instead in public transport. In particular, there are a string of cities along the south coast from Hasting, Eastbourne and Brighton to Southampton and Portsmouth that deserve an INTERCITY rail service between them (e.g. like the West Coast main line) - not the present stopping service that is shamefully slow.

This would be an environmental and ecological disaster + an enormous waste of money; all to save up to 6 minutes once a day in each direction at rush hour......

The Grey Route is an idiotic waste of at least half a billion pounds to get road travellers to the traffic jam at Worthing a few minutes sooner! Support the sensible Arundel Alternative to achieve a much needed but affordable bypass.

We cannot keep destroying our precious wildlife habitats replacing them with motorways and dual carriageways ,.
