Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

Unnecessary expense promoted by perceived necessity to get from A to B even quicker. All to the detriment of wildlife and landscape that can never be recovered.

Re nationalise the railways and provide a more sustainable transport system.

We need to conserve as much country side as possible and save what wildlife we have left ….

Stop this unnecessary and environmentally damaging road

This is outrageous. More violation and destruction of the Earth in the name of progress & speed. Now about to attack the beautiful valleys of the Arun & Adur. STOP THIS NOW.

This needs to stop before everything gone forever for the future generations

The planned road will increase ollution; madness when we need to be reducing emissions

So much for COP26, the Tories have destroyed enough of Sussex countryside/natural environment by buring it under ribbons of ugly housing estates. Enough is enough!

As an enviromentalist this road makes no sense at all it will destroy communities, natural habitats for wildlife becoming extinct for example impact arundel wetlands and wildlife corridors.. It has been ill thought through.

If this goes ahead, it will be the biggest environmental disaster.

The grey route will sever the arun valley water meadows, Tortington and Binssted and Walberton - destroying the countryside and damaging to wildlife. The arundel Alternative should be taken -we need to move away from private cars to public transport for the sake of the climate and future generations and to preserve what little wildlife that we have.

It is essential to stop this road building, it is a dreadful mistake and will destroy the beauty of the area and the unique habitats of the area all to save 9 mins for drivers

Reject this bypass plan, we need to preserve this precious rare and ancient habitat to protect our environment and mitigate climate change. NOT encourage increased fossil fuel use and polution.

Trees and wildlife gone yet again for the sake of a few minutes queuing. NO, leave the country side alone, too much is being taken away

Stop building a new bypass at Arundel. We need the countryside and the old historic buildings so that our children's children can learn the history of Arundel.

We need cars and other motor vehicles off the roads - not more road space. This includes electric cars - they pollute and destroy through their batteries!

The Arundel bypass plan needs more thought. So does the Chichester one.
