In late February of 2011, a disaster began to bloom. Not only was a young life lost, but two other's would be thrown into turmoil. Wrongfully accused? Horribly misjudged? Twenty two years, just to spend the next nine in a county jail. All because of one night. One mistake. One huge misunderstanding.Quite possibly, lies. Teenagers. Parties. Drinks. It's all so normal. Day to day conversation, right? It's just what they do. Alcohol for the underage. It's just our society. What makes this one time any different? It was but a curve in the road. Quite literally. One curve to set a teenage driver into a loss of control. Hitting a standby uhaul. One death. Two injuries. Human nature, survive. You have to survive. Get out. Just go. That, that is all that should be expected. Protect yourself. Destroy what is against you. There's a time for helping others, and a time for saving yourself. This was their time. They had so much more they could do with themselves. She didn't. Her time was gone. It's understood that the loss of such a young soul is unbearable to those close to her.. But, we already lost her. Why lose two more? Dustin Willis. Jason Lark. Two harshly sentenced young men, in desperate need of someone to speak up for them. They are human too, their lives have value. She was not forced to enter the blazer. It was by her own accord. Fate took things out of our hands. Perhaps she was meant to be an example. Either way, the young men do not, by far deserve the treatment that they have been handed. Cheyenne lost her life early. She will never get it back. Don't you find it absolutely inhumane to cause the same to happen to them? Then do something. Make a stand. Together we can lend a helping hand to these seemingly forgotten about souls. They have had the will to make it through, now lets show them that we have the will to stand up for them. Sign our petition.. Show your Will For Willis.
