Can we please be proactive and reactive and put up a very much needed traffic light at Hwy 92 and Butner/Ridge Rd.

Traffic light needed. It is very difficult to make left turns onto hwy. 92 or pulling straight across from Butner to Ridge Rd. Numerous wrecks have occurred at this intersection.

I have ridden on Highway 92 and believes this intersection does need a traffic signal.

Please talk with the Cliftondale Community Club to hear the history of working with the DOT on a safer solution for this intersection. http://www.cliftondale.org/
Their meetings are at 7:00 the 2nd Monday of each month. 4645 Butner Road
My thoughts are a traffic signal will have to be added somewhwere on this stretch of road. This would probaly add enough of a delay in traffic to help folks turning onto 92 from Demooney and Jones Rds as well.

Obviously, it seems that we need an assessment and/or study of the traffic conditions at the SR92/ Campbellton-Fairburn/Butner/Ridge Roads. Have we had that study/assessment to support this petition?

NO! NO MORE TRAFFIC LIGHTS!!!!
Find an alternative route rather than make everyone else suffer due to your sense of entitlement!!! That stop sign was there LONG before YOU or LeJardin. Did you not see it there along with the traffic before you moved in? Highway 92 has been flowing seemlessly for over 100 years until this mass influx of people and redlights come along.
If it were up to these light-lovers, it'll be just like living in North Fulton in no time!!!!
In that it will take us over 2 hours to go a mile and a half down the road.
Also, maybe if some of you people would GO when you have ample opportunities to do so, there wouldn't be miles of people behind you honking! Just hit the gas folks, its not that hard.
Stopping NEVER got anyone anywhere faster and NO people are NOT going to slow down.
This IS A HIGHWAY for God's sake!!! NOT intended to be a pedestrian/commercial/residential/school zone!!!!
FIND ANOTHER ROUTE AND STOP CLOGGING UP THE ROADS WITH RED LIGHTS!
