I went on the Galapagos trip and it was such an amazing experience where I learned a lot about a new culture, improved my Spanish and met new people/created new friendships. These trips do nothing but good things for everyone.

These trips are a fantastic opportunity for firsthand educational experiences. They allow students to practice their foreign language skills and learn about different cultures they might've not been exposed to before. Trips like the Galápagos would be far more expensive when not done through the school/EF Tours, and many students, myself included, wouldn't have had the opportunity to go on an amazing trip like that without international school trips. Cancelling these trips isn't fair to the students who've been looking forward to them their whole high school career, and suddenly can't go. It's not fair to younger students entering the high school who won't be able to have these experiences because the school board didn't want the trips anymore. These trips are an amazing opportunity for both students and faculty alike, and we shouldn't get rid of them.

I don't know why these trips are even being considered for cancellation. They are great opportunities for real world learning.

Bring back the itay trip before im out of High School. Thats one of the reasons i took Italian and its a shame to see the trip be removed from the school class trips.

These trips help us students learn through a new environment other than the classroom, and I believe more upcoming students should be able to experience this!

The trips need to come back, they allow kids to make memories with each other on a whole new level.

I would love to bring the trips back to SHS. They are a great learning experience for all kids as well as a getaway to a foreign place to study a different culture than our own

Bring trips back please. It's dumb that people took them away in the first place.

I would love it if the school offered more school trips. I would also love to experience traveling with my classmates and to be able to experience different cultures and open up to different lifestyles. This would be a great opportunity the school would have to offer again!

I went on the Galápagos trip and it was an experience of a lifetime. I got to practice my Spanish, learn about the culture of the Galápagos and I made so many new friends. The Galápagos trip is definitely something that I will cherish my whole life because I might not ever experience that again. I want other kids to be able to experience what I experienced. Keeping the trips is something that should be highly considered. Thank you

I went to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands with the school. The trip was amazing. I made new friends and met so many teachers I didn't know. Everyone learned so much on the trip such as time and money management skills along with organization and social skills. Students were able to speak Spanish. You don't have these first hand opportunities in school. Going to South America truly made ourselves and our school global citizens which is something our district values. Please bring the trips back, this is something that a MAJORITY of the students and teachers want.
