It's a shame we can't get an opportunity for the Western area to have a Stem or Magnet school in the area built near Berewick elementary or expand current SWMS? unfortunately, this is a two fold problem that definitely needs to be looked at differently. yes our children need opportunity to have Stem or Magnet in this area but doesn't solve overcrowding.

I Argee As well. It's crazy that my child will have to ride the bus for 2 hours. This means she will finished homework later, go to bed later, and be sleepy in the morning. The people @ CMS need to wake up! Our voice needs to be heard.

PLEASE address the overcrowding at Southwest Middle by redrawing the boundary lines. It is way overdue and our children and educators deserve the attention!

I agree. Every child should be afforded an excellent education whether magnet or otherwise. Putting our children's name in a lottery, gambling on whether or not they attend a good school is intolerable. We must address overcrowding immediately. Every child every day for better tomorrow? Show us.

please stop reacting to issues and start being proactive. Think outside the book build a new middle and high school on the land you already have!

CMS needs to use some common senseplanning instead of stop gap measuresand rearrangiing problems.

The southwest area of the county has long been neglected. Now is the time to do the right thing. The land is ready for the new middle school and high school.

Students in the area should go to their home school. Busing kids all over Charlotte is not going to solve the problems they think it will.

my daughter is in TD program and I want her to be able to be challenged with the Stem students
