a solidarity dance for a good cause
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE .We are from the Vedruna Sagrat Cor school.
And today we present a petition on the problem of pollution in the yard and how it affects seagulls (which are usually roaming the yard). Now you are probably wondering if one thing is wrong with the other. The answer is simple, as you know there are many people who throw their sandwich with the plastic in the first bin in the yard. it's bad because our friends the seagulls with an attempt to get food take the sandwiches in the trash with the plastic included. With the simple action of throwing food on the ground in plastic bags or plastic rolls, they encourage a seagull to come and eat a piece of plastic. That is why in the face of this problem we 1st year ESO students in class A present an idea.
It is a question of putting in the yard a medium-sized bin, which is separated by 2 sectors:
1 sector a rubbish to throw the aluminum plastics, paper film ... (this part will be covered with a lid that opens and closes, so the seagulls will not have access.
2 sector an organic garbage where you can throw the leftovers of your breakfast (this unlike the plastic will not be covered, so the seagulls and will be able to access food the leftovers)
And the best part is that all the bins will be funded by a group of student volunteers who will give a live dance to the whole school to raise money, like a solidarity dance. All money will go to the trash cans I mentioned earlier.
Please also tell your friends about it, and ask them to sing , too.
