- There are plenty of young people in the Edwalton/Gamston area, and a lot of them own bikes, scooters, and skateboards. Frequently you'll see them riding around, but where can they sprout a fun mode of transportation into a hobby, a talent? The Clifton skatepark and Lady Bay skatepark are the two closest to the area but both at 2.2 miles away but for the majority of kids this is a nuisance to reach because of route complexity and distance. The community would be positively effected by the inclusion of a skatepark, and it is without any doubt we can promise it would be cherished and used for years to come. Please give our request consideration, and understand that there seems to be an empty space amidst our community, and how deeply we would appreciate our shared dream of having a local skatepark become true.
