Turd - you are certainly entitled to disagree with this petition, and choose not to sign it. Your points about the potential hazards of additional stop signs are of course valid concerns to consider. Those of us who have signed the petition have just weighed those risks with the existing traffic and safety concerns, and concluded that the potential benefit of this solution may outweigh the potential risks. Again, as is the nature of a petition, folks are entitled to choose not to sign if they disagree. There's no need, however,for your aggressive and negative comments. This is by far the dumbest thing I've heard from the residents of this part of town. Stop signs? Just wait until the town center opens and traffic is backed up because of your genius idea. And then people will start ignorning them and one of your precious children will get hit in the stop sign. Go ahead, put in your stupid stop signs. I just sold my house and am leaving this god forsaken neighborhood.
Please reduce the speed and add stop signs. Better yet, a traffic light or two would make a world of difference. Crossings on these streets will only get busier with the development of east bridge.

Havana / Iola are the only through streets to Aurora without stop signs. Yet they are the busiest, with direct access to I-70. This should be fixed!

Time to recognize the amount of homes that have been constructed and the population density in this area, and regulate traffic patterns accordingly. As noted in other comments, this also includes E 26th Ave from Beeler to Moline.

There are also significant speed problems along 26th from Beeler to Iola, and sounds like all the way to moline. 26th from moline to Beeler is a wide open road with only a few stop signs. I see speeds up to 50-60 on a daily basis. Eastbridge gets a lot of traffic as it is the connection between Denver and Aurora so we are really in need of better speed control. Stop signs, crosswalks, better speed patrol, and visuals (medians/trees like on 17th in park hill) are essential to slow traffic in our neighborhood.

I fear for my kids safety daily. The cats rarely go the sired limit and it's just as bad on E 26th Ave from Havana to Moline.

For the love of God, please no speed bumps. The bump in front of our house (which isn't actually a speed bump, just a poorly done road repair) is an absolute nuisance. All day long we hear trucks and cars with no mufflers gunning the accelerator after they clear the bump. Trucks clatter incredibly loudly when they fly over it. It wakes us up in the middle of the night frequently. Stop signs are fine, but please fix the bump and don't add any. Heck, I'd love it if they closed the connection to Aurora. That would fix everything!

Ideally Havana and Iola north of 25th should be like Havana and Iola south of 25th, which means calm residential streets with stop signs at each intersection. It makes no sense for those streets to resemble highways north of 25th.

These streets have become a reckless high speed thoroughfare that are extremely dangerous. Speeding cars, too much volume, cars not stopping at stop signs. Too much through traffic that is not local.

Please install traffic calming facilities, stop signs, lights and cross walks.
