Please move to next spring. I planned for months to be at the meeting that was postponed 10 days ago. I cannot make November 2 or 4 (son getting married). I deserve the chance to vote.

Very important issues on the agenda. There is no need to push these issues now. A clear and fair meeting time would be more in keeping with Truro values.

The original meeting was to be on a Saturday, in the morning. The warrant for this meeting is long and demanding. Attempting to do this in an evening and when families should be home having dinner is ill-advised.

I urge Moderator Wisotzky to move Special Town Meeting to Saturday, Nov 4 at 10 AM, or better yet, to cancel Special Town Meeting and move all items to the April Annual Town Meeting, again on a Saturday at 10 AM.

I strongly urge that the Town Meeting be moved to 10 AM on Saturday 4th November 2023

For the convenience of Truro voters as well as officials I think a Saturday is preferable to a Thursday night, considering folks that work during the week, and considering that the meeting may take several hours to conclude. Everyone should be fresh and ready to participate on a Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

The issues of the Walsh land and the proper siting of the DPW are both so important to the Town that nothing less than an ATM is suitable or appropriate for deciding them. PLEASE RESCHEDULE FOR SPRING!

Please move this meeting and vote to April - or at the least, to Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the earliest. I've lived in Truro for over twenty years and hope we can get back to a better process for proposing, reviewing, and deciding on initiatives for our town - such as the massive Walsh property project. I'm a proponent for affordable housing and related, however, I'm also very concerned about the impact on Truro's water supply - and management of septic. This is now, and will continue to be, an ever increasing challenge to Truro and the entire Cape. Before I'd feel comfortable voting "yes" for the Walsh Property plan, I need to trust that Truro town management has a solid project plan in place for the long-term to protect our water supply and water quality. Thank you.

The warrant, in its entirety, should be moved to Annual Town Meeting in April 2024 to ensure both accuracy and fairness.

We will be out of town. So my preference is to cancel special meeting and move to annual meeting in April 2024.

I believe the extraordinary divisiveness and controversy in Truro concerning particular issues on the warrant scheduled to be considered, shortly, requires that the special town meeting scheduled shortly should be postponed. The controversial issues require considerable more thought and consideration. They should not be proposed to the town to vote on until the annual Town meeting in April 2024. I urge you to do so.
