Taking French in a setting where I cannot learn it in person is ever stressful, especially when I’m worried about the safety of my loved ones. Making it pass fail will allow me to feel slightly more at ease, especially in these uneasy times.

The amount of stress that comes with remote schooling is mounting and having a letter grade vs pass/fail during these times adds more to the stress. The lack of being able to interact with the professor and class puts one at a great disadvantage for learning.

I don’t understand on why you all think that we shouldn’t have pass fail

ECU and my teachers and have done everything possible to make this learning experience better, but I struggle with online courses. Learning online is difficult, it is easy to miss a deadline and students have less motivation to participate. I also have group projects with other students that I can not meet with in person.

My son is a Junior and has not even seen a Professor's face since last February. No in person, no Zoom. He has literally been teaching himself. Students should be given a pass/fail option until you open the classrooms back up.

This semester should be pass fail due to the fact that I still have majority online classes which I struggle to learn in.

Paying the same tuition for online classes and professors that give 10x more the amount of busy work than actual teaching. Emails to professors rarely answered or no help at all.

What’s the difference between this semester and last? We are paying full price for half the education. It doesn’t make sense for their to be no pass/fail

I am being forced to take online classes with professors who don’t even talk to you. I signed up for all face to face because that is what I am good at.

None of my professors teach online classes outside of covid. It’s unreasonable to hold us to the same expectations in person classes
