The shift to non classroom learning has posed various challenges. The idea of pass/fail is just common sense.

To not have pass or fail is to fail the students , during a time in which we over pay for classes whose professors do half the effort and don’t even do lectures it would be nonsense to not have pass or fail.

Zero change from last semester to this semester, so why would there be no pass/fail ?

The teachers are not teaching. The students cannot teach themselves. The University is not doing their share for our students. This is only acceptable

If there’s no zoom classes and kids are teaching themselves, it should be Pass Fail.

As many of us are still being subjected to stress from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, political turmoil, recovering from economic instability, and working through a mostly online semester without a spring break while professors and organizations continue to adjust to these curveballs, the least that students (especially isolated and vulnerable lower-income first-year students who lack experience with any of this) should be offered is a Pass/Fail option for classes.

Please make pass/fail an option. Students are working very hard but virtual classes or teach yourself doesn’t work for all despite how much a student applies themselves.
