Before going into the matters of this petition we would like to express that playing ELeague has been a hell of a good experience to all players involved. Very organised, lot of exposure, excelent structure and accomodations. We are all pleased to play this tournament.

Recently, we had a very special case on this tournament where LG players have been transfered to SK during the ELeague Season 1 date range.

It was still a doubt on how ELeague and other leagues would react to that fact. As an example, the Cologne Major was suffering from the same problem and already solved it. They used a rule that we call 60% majority, where the spot is always granted to the majority of players in case a team split or change orgs. That is how our community has always been dealing with those situations, in a way where players are protected with what they won or achieved.

We bring this topic to our players union group and you will see signed here other players representing their teams. We would like to request a review on the rule being used by ELeague in order to keep the importance of attribuing spots and achievements to the players that earnt it.

Thanks

The players are the ones putting in all the work to qualify so they should keep their spot no matter what org they sign with. Makes zero sense to strip it away from them.

I agree that in current state of esports, lack of certain transfer rules and in good faith of league level of gameplay , spots earned by players , should stay in 60% majority of players succession.
